World's highest ferris wheel

Until the Ain Dubai opened in October 2021, the title of the 'world's tallest ferris wheel' belonged to the Singapore Flyer with a height of 165 meters. This former world record holder is now topped by the impressive structure on Bluewaters Island - directly in front of the Dubai skyline - with another almost 100 meters.

Attraction opening in 2021

Originally, the opening of the Ain Dubai was planned for October 2020. Like the opening of the EXPO in Dubai, the commissioning of the ferris wheel was postponed for a year.

250 metres high

Another world record for Dubai. The Ain Dubai is the world's highest observation wheel and has with 250 metres nearly twice the height of the London Eye (135 metres).

38 minutes

The Ain Dubai takes 38 minutes to make one complete turn. During this time, around 1,750 passengers in 48 cabins have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking 360° view of Dubai's coastline, skyline and unique landmarks.

238 million euros

The construction of this massive attraction began in May 2015. Costs were approximately 238 million euros over the 6 years to opening on October 21st. 2021.

Ain Dubai

The Ain Dubai is located on the man-made luxury island of Bluewaters, off the coast of the Jumeirah Beach Residence. The landmark of the small island off Dubai’s mainland is unmistakable: the largest ferris wheel in the world has finally made its first laps over Bluewaters Island Dubai after years of construction.

Since its opening in October 2021, tourist are getting offered unique views of Dubai’s iconic tourist attractions from indoor, air-conditioned cabins.

Before each journey, which lasts an impressive 38 minutes, visitors can take a seat in a 4D cinema. There the city of Dubai is portrayed in an impressive way in combination with interesting facts. Tourists can see all Dubai attractions and experience Dubai sightseeing in a new way.

38 minutes, so many options…

After the visit at the cinema, the ride on the gigantic ferris wheel begins. The Ain Dubai has a total of 48 cabins and can accommodate 1,750 people.

In fully air-conditioned and closed cabins, guests have a 360-degree panoramic view of the sea and the skyline of the metropolis. The visitor capsules are also equipped with a bar lounge and some are even suitable for holding meetings or dinners.

High level of exclusivity and a very special atmosphere: parquet floors, sofas, tables and more. A real living room in the clouds with a breathtaking view of the most famous tourist attractions in Dubai such as Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab and something more distant on the Burj Khalifa.

If tourists in Dubai want to visit the fascinating attraction, they have several ticket options to choose from. From standard single tickets to family passes to stays in private luxury cabins with the option for dinner, champagne receptions or group events: there is a total of 19 different experience packages to choose from. The standard ticket can be booked from around € 30.

How to get there

By bus

The Bus number 84 operates between Al Khail Gate and Dubai Marina.You can get off the bus at Dubai Marina, and from there it's about a 12-minute walk to Ain Dubai on Bluewaters Island.

By metro

The nearest metro stations to Ain Dubai are either DMCC station or Jebel Ali station and take a taxi from there to Ain Dubai (about 10 minutes ride).
